Finding Your Motivation

To define my motivations, I have set up some very specific goals to accomplish throughout 2017. Revamping my fitness routine is a huge part of the plans I have over the next 12 months. I want to expand my potential, and I want to focus on making sure that I keep track of my health throughout the year. I personally believe it is a essential to own a fitness tracker in this day and age.

Growing up, sports and being active were always part of my life. At 40, fitness technology has improved, and fitness trackers have removed the need for handwritten diaries or logs. Fitness trackers are highly evolved, and capable of performing so many important functions.

The current generation of fitness trackers includes ease of use, stress free data collection, and all the important features of a mini computer system, set up to be your personal trainer.

The 4th step, I modified to be a way of saving my money and paying myself for achieving challenging steps. 1-3 was very much on target steps to follow.

Recently, I started feeling my body craving yoga again, and every time I walk by my Mountain Bike, it’s as if I can feel it starring at me, wondering my motivation to feel my heart pumping and my adrenaline flowing, has disappeared. In order for me to track my adventures, and to get back into shape safely, owning a fitness tracker with a HR monitor, can enhance my workouts, and give me very useful feedback. All of these factors, contribute to increasing my motivation to stay healthy and in charge of my own personal well being.

Taking responsibility for my health and wellness, is an important layer of my motivational  story.  Having a record of my activities, brings validity to my hard work, and I welcome the technology of today, to enable me to focus my time on staying active, and spending less time trying to keep up with some outdated fitness journal.
